Scrap Metal is a 3D driving sandbox built around free exploration, vehicle physics, and creative stunts. Choose from several cars, drive across an open environment, use ramps and obstacles, and push your vehicle through jumps, crashes, and high-speed experiments.

How to Play Scrap Metal

Choose a vehicle and explore the map at your own pace. You can drive at high speed, perform jumps, drift around the environment, or deliberately crash into obstacles to see how the car reacts. The game has no fixed racing objective, giving you freedom to create your own challenges and stunt setups.

You can also manipulate obstacles with the mouse and create custom arrangements for jumps and crashes. Switch between different camera views, use slow motion to examine spectacular moments, and repair or reset the car whenever it becomes damaged or stuck.

Controls

• Arrow Keys – Drive and steer.
• Ctrl + Mouse – Move obstacles.
• Space – Use the handbrake.
• 1–7 – Change camera view.
• T – Activate slow motion.
• Enter – Reset the car.
• Shift + R – Repair the car.
• Shift – Use the clutch.
• F / V – Change gears.
