How to Play Mahjongg Solitaire

Start by examining the board and identifying pairs of matching tiles that are available to select. A tile can only be removed if no other tile covers it and at least one of its left or right sides is open. Click or tap two matching free tiles to remove them from the board and reveal the tiles underneath. Continue matching pairs until every tile has been cleared.

Plan your moves carefully because removing one pair can unlock new tiles while leaving others blocked. Prioritize tiles that cover multiple pieces or occupy important positions in the layout to create more matching opportunities. Depending on the version, flower and season tiles may match other tiles within their respective groups even when their illustrations differ. If you get stuck, use the hint feature to find an available pair. In timed versions, work efficiently to clear as many tiles as possible before the countdown ends.

Controls

• Left Mouse Button – Click a free tile to select it, then click a matching tile to remove the pair.
• Mouse – Navigate menus and interact with in-game buttons.
• Touchscreen – Tap two matching free tiles to clear them from the board.
• Hint Button – Reveal a possible matching pair when you need help.
• Undo Button – Reverse your previous move if this option is available.
